What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR/Payroll Processor position at Elite Metro Corp?
As a leader in the Wireless Telecommunications Industry, Elite Metro Corp is looking for an experienced processor who can fill human resources, payroll functions along with other accounting tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in Human Resources, Payroll, and general Accounting duties.
Ensure accurate data input into multiple vendor portals/systems, including ADP.
Timely and accurate processing of associate weekly payroll ADP.
Timely and accurate processing of a payroll/data reports and other request.
Maintains ADP with all paper files, ensure and orginized work space and accurate paper documents ate maintainesd at all times.
Responsibilities
· Prepare and process weekly payroll including commission and incentive calculations, timecard reconciliation, PTO balances, payroll liabilities, accruals and other standard payroll procedures
· Generate, review and disperse payroll reports to management
· Process off-cycle payments, garnishments, and support orders
· Administer employee benefits programs, open enrollment and renewal processes for our health benefits.
· Maintain records of personnel-related data; payroll, changes, turnover rates, I-9s, etc., in both paper and electronically to ensure all employment, regulatory and confidentiality requirements are met
· Conduct analysis to identify trends, share ideas to improve associated processes and systems, and work cross-functionally to implement applicable changes
· Respond to internal and external HR and payroll related questions or requests and provide assistance
· Ensure adherence with regulatory compliance requirements within area of responsibility and timely report any potential issues to management
· Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, performing background checks, issuing employment contracts, etc.
· Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and training
· Develop and maintain organizational chart, job descriptions, salary guidelines and evaluation process
· Assist supervisors in performance management procedures
· Manage Workers’ Compensation claims and relationship with carrier
· Coordinate training on the company training platform
· Assist in basic journal entries, account reconciliations and period-end closing
· Support other functions as assigned
Requirements
· Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training
· 2 – 4 years related experience and/or training.
· Experience with QuickBooks Desktop.
· Ability to understand and apply basic accounting principles
· Strong ability in using MS Office, advanced experience in Excel
· Experience with Paycor.
· Outstanding communication, conflict resolution, mediation and interpersonal skills
· Ability to handle data with confidentiality
· Strong organizational, attention to detail, problem-solving and time management skills
· Bilingual, English/Spanish, a plus
· Full-time work schedule is 8 am to 5 pm, Monday thru Friday, with occasional overtime
