ABA Focused Nanny/Family Assistant Needed in Los Altos, CA (SF Bay Area)!

• Full Time, Live Out

• Pay rate: $42-45/hour (40-45 hours per week)
• Start date: January 2025
• Location: Los Altos Hills, CA (Santa Clara County - San Fran Bay)
• Children: 6 month old girl (primary care) & 5 year old boy on the Autism Spectrum (full-time school)
• Schedule: M-F 7:30am/8:30am - 4:30pm/5:30pm with flexibility for an occasional weekend or evening. Candidates should expect to work 40-45 hours per week fluctuating if oldest has OT
• Description of children: The family’s eldest child is outgoing and extroverted! The family’s infant is currently breastfed and takes a bottle, the family is following Eat Play Sleep every 1 ½ - 2 hours, she will start solids soon..
• Responsibilities include primary care for the 6 month old, engaging the children with stimulating and educational activities, supporting the children to become more self-sufficient, dropping off and picking up the eldest child from school and caring for both children during summers and school holidays, preparing children’s meals, family assistant duties including maintaining common areas of the home, liaising with the eldest’s school, maintaining Google calendars, reviewing therapy notes, collaborating with Mom and Dad
• Ideal nanny candidate is proactive, tech savvy and communicative! The family would love their nanny/family assistant to grow with them for years to come.
• The family has a housekeeper every week.
• Travel: Family travels approximately 6 times per year domestically and internationally, nanny will be expected to occasionally accompany them.
• Transportation: Nanny vehicle can be provided, if needed.

Nanny/FA must have experience with infants and children on the Autism Spectrum!

Requirements:

• 5 years professional nanny/FA or house management experience
• Experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum
• Extensive experience with infants, toddlers & preschool age children
• CPR First Aid certified upon job start
• Valid driver's license, own car is preferred
• Valid passport or able to obtain
• Covid & all standard vaccinations
• TrustLine Registered upon hire
• Verifiable references

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
