Job Overview
Must have experience working with people under stressful conditions. This requires two to three years of experience of progressively being able to take on harder challenges that involve remaining calm and being able to calm others when sorting out problems that arise. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with others while multitasking several schedules and priorities at once.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must have knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Must have mathematical skills
- TDS software knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with others under any type of condition
- Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes, and personnel
- Knowledge of computers for scheduling and other dispatching duties
- Ability to multitask with different, and sometimes conflicting, events happening at the same time
- Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm other people under any circumstances
- Spanish speaking is a plus but not required
Roles and Responsibilities
- Scheduling and dispatching drivers, work crews, vehicles, or equipment to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests or immediate needs
- Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems
- Maintain 24-hour window on all validations
- Preparing daily work such as schedules using outlook calendar
- Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work orders, emails on OT charges for work performed after hours, print loading and unloading validations
- Overtime, on-call shifts and weekend work will be required (this pertains to fulltime Elite Pipe Services personnel)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
