What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Accountant position at Elite Placement Group, Inc.?

Supports the accounting for various loan portfolios.

Liaise with loan operations team and loan servicers to reconcile servicer reports to the general ledger.

Prepare and or review Loan related journal entries as part of the month end close.

Analyze portfolio changes including movement in balances and yields.

Review and reconcile loan remittance and disbursement accounts.

Maintains, analyzes and reconciles deferred loan origination fees and costs.

Analyzes loan general ledger accounts to identify and correct errors.

Resolve servicing bottlenecks.

Ability to assist with ad hoc reports such as loan servicing automation efforts and other required loan reporting

requests.

Adheres to compliance procedures and internal / operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable

regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
