Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented accounting professional to join our team in a senior capacity. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, mentoring junior staff, and serving as a key liaison between our company, lenders, and executives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights effectively.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the financial close process for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
• Perform initial reviews of trial balances, verifying reconciliations and ensuring all accounts align with supporting documentation.
• Conduct profit and loss trend analysis to identify anomalies, investigate discrepancies, and recommend necessary adjustments.
• Prepare and submit financial and operating reports to lenders while addressing any related inquiries.
• Communicate directly with lenders and executives to provide financial insights and respond to questions.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and financial bookings across all entities.
• Prepare executive-level financial analysis, highlighting key trends and performance insights.
• Ensure compliance with lender requirements by calculating debt service ratios and completing necessary certifications.
• Generate unaudited standalone and consolidated financial statements for relevant entities.
• Lead the preparation of year-end financial statements and coordinate external audit activities.
• Act as the primary liaison between the accounting team and auditors, managing PBC lists and deliverables.
• Work closely with tax consultants to compile necessary documentation for tax return preparation.
• Develop budgets for small project entities and provide financial forecasting support.
• Assist with accounting treatment for complex financial transactions, including project sales and acquisitions.
