Senior FP&A Analyst
📍 Location: White Plains, NY (Hybrid – 2 days in-office)
💰 Compensation: $90,000 – $120,000

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company with a strong market presence. The FP&A team plays a key strategic role in driving financial insights and supporting business decisions.
About the Role
The Senior FP&A Analyst will be the primary point of contact for internal teams requesting financial reports and analysis. This role is ideal for someone with strong FP&A experience in CPG, who enjoys working with data, but isn’t necessarily looking to step into a managerial role just yet.
🚨 Public accounting experience is NOT required. They’re looking for a candidate with a direct FP&A background rather than someone who started in accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Support financial planning, reporting, and decision-making.
- Partner with business teams to provide insight into P&L drivers, forecast expectations, and strategic risks/opportunities.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process using Oracle EPM.
- Data & Business Insights: Provide ad hoc financial analysis, including variance and scenario modeling.
- Conduct pricing analysis, new product evaluations, and ROI/ROAS modeling.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitors, and industry dynamics.
- Process & System Optimization: Identify efficiencies and automation opportunities within financial reporting systems.
- Support the month-end closing process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights.
Qualifications & Skills
✔ 3 years of FP&A experience in a CPG or manufacturing environment.
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
✔ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
✔ Experience with ERP/EPM systems (Oracle preferred).
✔ Excellent communication skills—must be able to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
✔ Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
