Job Overview
Elite Power Electric, a trusted leader in electrical contracting, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatcher to join our dynamic team. The Dispatcher is a critical role responsible for coordinating field operations, scheduling resources efficiently, and ensuring effective communication between technicians, project managers, and clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Dispatch electricians to service calls, installations, and maintenance tasks based on priority, location, and expertise.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrate professionalism in addressing customer requests and effectively managing interactions with customers to ensure resolution and maintain a positive customer experience.
- Develop and maintain daily schedules to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
- Act as the central communication hub between field technicians, customers, and office staff.
- Relay job details, updates, and instructions promptly and clearly.
- Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or field-related concerns in real-time.
- Maintain detailed records of work orders, job progress, and completion statuses in dispatching software.
- Generate and manage reports related to job assignments, technician performance, and service outcomes.
- Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, service updates, and any delays or changes.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally, striving to deliver exceptional service.
- Anticipate and resolve scheduling issues or delays due to emergencies, resource constraints, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Collaborate with the operations team to implement solutions and maintain service quality.
- Sales experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in dispatching software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of electrical contracting services (a plus).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Sales experience is a plus.
Work Environment
- Office-based role with regular communication with field teams and occasional interaction at job sites.
- Standard business hours with the possibility of on-call or after-hours duties as needed.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
