Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Design, evaluate, and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and
cost-effectiveness in countertop fabrication. Analyze production data to identify
bottlenecks and implement adjustments using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Python.
(25%).
2. Diagnose and resolve process issues, ensuring minimal production disruption for
company’s quartz countertop manufacturing business. Perform root cause analysis on
recurring issues and develop sustainable process improvements using Python, Gx Work
2, Gx Work 3. (15%)
3. Coordinate the integration of new production processes and technologies, including
training staff on best practices. Document procedures and create guidelines for smooth
transitions. (10%)
4. Establish data-driven quality control procedures, monitoring key performance indicators
(KPIs) for process consistency. Implement statistical process control (SPC) to monitor
product quality and adjust processes proactively to maintain standards. (20%)
5. Analyze and optimize material flow, inventory levels, and storage solutions to prevent
bottlenecks and streamline supply chain coordination with production needs using
Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word. (10%).
6. Provide technical training for staff on best practices, documenting and updating process
manuals and safety protocols to ensure consistent operations (10%).
7. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, such as smart sensors and real-time
monitoring systems, to increase production efficiency (5%).
8. Establish and maintain quality control systems, monitoring raw material use and product
standards at different production stages to ensure compliance with industry specifications
(5%).
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or
Engineering Management.
2. 6 months of experience in quartz countertop manufacturing business, analyzing using
Python, Gx Work 2, Gx Work 3 and providing training to staff
