Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager. This critical initiative requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of project management principles and the ability to align the implementation with the organization’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing largescale IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. While deep SAP expertise is not required, the candidate must be adept at overseeing complex initiatives and collaborating with a technical team.
- Define and manage the project’s scope, timeline, budget, and resources.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including internal IT staff, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Coordinate activities across teams to ensure smooth execution of the migration.
Stakeholder Management:Risk and Issue Management:Vendor and Partner Coordination:
- Collaborate with executive sponsors and business leaders to understand and align project goals with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate regular status updates and steering committee meetings.
- Manage change requests and address stakeholder concerns effectively.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain and update a RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log.
- Escalate critical issues promptly and propose actionable solutions.
- Ensure all deliverables from third-party vendors meet agreed standards and timelines
- Coordinate postmigration validation and performance optimization.
- Experience:
- 8 years of experience managing largescale IT projects.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee complex technical projects and align them with strategic business goals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with technical teams and understand high level system functionality.
