Summary:
We are searching for a Sales Manager with experience in the Encapsulated Ingredients to Food industries to drive sales across the Mid West territory. This role will involve targeting manufacturers of Food Industries.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage and expand sales within the Mid west territory, focusing on clients in Food Manufacturing.
•Develop and execute sales strategies for Encapsulated ingredients, catering to a variety of formulations for Food Industries
•Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including manufacturers, product developers, and formulation scientists.
•Collaborate with internal teams to align on product offerings and ensure timely delivery of solutions to clients.
•Identify new business opportunities and partnerships with companies in the food Industries
•Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product developments, and regulatory requirements that impact the use of encapsulated ingredients.
•Represent Our company at industry events, trade shows (e.g., SupplySide West, Vitafoods, CPhI), and customer meetings.
•Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights to senior management to support decision-making.
Key Qualifications:
•Proven experience in a sales role within an encapsulated ingredients distribution company, with a focus on the food industries.
•Expertise in selling encapsulated ingredients (e.g., Ammonium Bicarbonate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Fumaric Acid etc) and encapsulated minerals (e.g., Ferrous sulphate, tricalcium phospate) used in food industries
•Strong network of contacts within the food industries, including manufacturers and R&D professionals.
•Experience working with distributor companies such as Corbion, Balchem, Tastetech or similar, is highly preferred.
•Ability to understand the technical aspects of encapsulated ingredients and minerals, and how they function in various formulations.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
