This role requires effective communication and the ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the power generation, refinery, and petrochemical sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Attend industry conferences and events to network and promote company offerings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM software.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in business development, preferably in power generation, refinery, or petrochemical industries.
- Strong understanding of industry dynamics and customer needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel as needed within Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
