About the Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Production Floor Manager to lead a high-performance manufacturing team in Dublin, GA. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on improving shop floor efficiency, enforcing quality standards, and driving operational excellence in alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs). This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong command of Lean practices, and leads by example on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide daily leadership and direction to production supervisors and floor staff, with a 70% presence on the floor.
Drive productivity and product quality in line with set KPI targets.
Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and ergonomic policies.
Enforce shop floor discipline and foster a culture of accountability and performance.
Monitor and report on daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs, with plans to address performance gaps.
Lead the implementation of new procedures and production flow improvements.
Maintain a minimum gross margin of 35% by minimizing indirect costs.
Act as a change management champion, modeling industry-best standards in operations.
Collaborate with HR to make staffing decisions, including hiring and terminations.
Participate as a key member of the site’s local management team.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a Production Manager, Operations Manager, or similar manufacturing leadership role.
Track record of implementing production procedures that deliver measurable results.
Strong understanding of KPIs, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and shop floor planning.
Technical degree or equivalent industry experience.
Ability to read technical drawings and develop work instructions.
Skilled in assessing risk, making timely decisions, and leading through challenges.
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
