Forklift Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of materials within our distribution center. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.

Duties

• Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and pallet jacks, to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Conduct order picking and ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking purposes.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety regulations.
• Build and organize pallets for efficient storage and transport of goods.
• Assist in materials handling tasks, ensuring that all products are stored properly and accessible when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company standards.

Experience

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with RF scanners, order picking processes, and general materials handling practices is advantageous.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in completing tasks independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols in all aspects of the job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $19.20 per hour
