Job Summary: The Outside Plumbing Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the our technician, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and achieving sales targets for our plumbing services. This role requires a proactive and customer-focused approach and strong leadership skills. The company provides the leads so no cold calling required, just respond to provided residential leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Lead, manage, and motivate the outside sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, provide training, and ensure continuous improvement of the sales team.
- Client Engagement:
- Meet with residential clients to understand their plumbing needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and contracts to clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Performance Management:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to the sales team.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the plumbing or home services industry.
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, products, and services.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
