Loan Operations Manager

The Loan Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management of the loan operations function. This includes overseeing the processing of loans, managing the loan portfolio, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the loan origination and servicing process, as well as experience in managing a team of employees. They will also be proficient in using various software applications, such as loan origination systems and credit scoring models.

Responsibilities of the Loan Operations Manager include:

• Overseeing the processing of loans, including underwriting, closing, and funding
• Managing the loan portfolio, including tracking loan performance and managing delinquent loans
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures for the loan operations function
• Providing training and development for loan operations staff
• Working with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure the smooth flow of loan operations

Qualifications for the Loan Operations Manager position include:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in the loan operations function
• Strong understanding of the loan origination and servicing process
• Experience in managing a team of employees
• Proficiency in using various software applications, such as loan origination systems and credit scoring models
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
