Are you calm under pressure, attentive to detail and enjoy working in a team environment? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Scheduling Support Specialist! This position is located at our Midtown location and is Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times to patients, colleagues, and referring doctors
- Answer incoming calls and return voicemails as needed to schedule new and return patients for all providers. This includes:
- Understand and follow script and protocols for each provider
- Understand existing contracts for each provider and stay updated on changes
- Copy and send applicable documentation and medical records.
- Ensure that information needed to treat each patient is in patient’s file. If additional information is required, take necessary steps to get files from hospital/referring physician and call other providers etc. (ex: referring records, demographic info, insurance information, imaging disks, etc.).
OTHER
- Maintain confidentiality; comply with HIPAA, OSHA and other compliance guidelines established by regulation or by the Company
- Complete all mandatory annual training programs
- Attend all meetings as requested
- Adhere to the Team Member Handbook and other policies and procedures as they are developed
- Perform other tasks or projects as requested by the supervisor
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of medical practice procedures and terminology is helpful
- At least two years of appropriate medical office job experience required
- Ability to perform multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously
- Experience performing redundant tasks with minimal error rate
- Experience working in potentially stressful situations
- High-level customer service and communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Preference for activities involving face-to-face interaction
- Ability to use good judgment in the course of work
