We are actively seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Representative to expand our client base, with a primary focus on schools and educational institutions. This role is commission-based and best suited for self-motivated sales professionals with a proven ability to generate their own leads and close deals.
Position OverviewAs a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for independently identifying, engaging, and securing new clients for Elite Start MSP. This role is a 1099 independent contractor position, meaning compensation is directly tied to successful sales performance. If you do not produce, you do not get paid.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategies to identify and engage potential clients, focusing on schools and other businesses requiring IT services.
- Utilize your own resources, network, and lead-generation methods to prospect potential clients.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers (IT Directors, Principals, Business Administrators, CEOs, etc.).
- Present, pitch, and sell Elite Start MSP’s IT services and solutions to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close new client contracts to expand our client base.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and track progress.
- 100% commission-based – Compensation is directly based on sales performance.
- Competitive commission rates – Percentage based on experience.
- Uncapped earning potential – The more clients you secure, the higher your earnings.
- 1099 independent contractor – No base salary; you are responsible for your own success.
- US-only role – Candidates must be based in the United States.
- Proven experience in IT sales, B2B sales, or business development (preferably within the MSP or technology sector).
- Strong ability to independently generate leads and close deals without company-provided leads.
- Established network within the education sector or other IT-driven industries is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Understanding of managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and network solutions is highly desirable.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
