π§ Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end billing process; ensure accurate, efficient, and timely invoicing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AR analysts, operations, finance, and tech teams to build scalable Order to Cash (OTC) solutions.
- Lead collection efforts and enforce compliance with policies and procedures.
- Oversee and hold accountable third-party Shared Service providers, driving performance and service quality improvements.
- Support the design, enhancement, and integration of billing and collections systems.
- Ensure prompt cash application and accurate AR balances.
- Lead customer credit evaluations and guide payment terms to mitigate risk.
- Drive resolution of billing/collections issues alongside commercial, customer service, and finance teams.
- Own Accounts Receivable and spearhead initiatives to reduce DSO.
- Analyze AR status and manage the bad debt reserve process.
- Oversee month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure internal control compliance and support audit engagements.
- Coach, develop, and inspire both internal and external team members; build a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist with monthly/quarterly financial close reporting and analysis.
- Leverage data for in-depth reporting and analytics.
- Partner with senior leadership on long-term strategic financial initiatives.
π What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred
- 7 years of experience in AR, billing, collections; 3 years in management
- Proven ability to lead global teams with strong coaching and mentorship skills
- Experience in customer collections and contract procedures
- Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with a process improvement orientation
- Proficiency with large ERP systems (Oracle Cloud ERP a plus)
- Advanced Excel skills; Six Sigma/Lean/project management experience is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities
- Sharp analytical acumen and attention to detail
- Experience in SOX-compliant, global environments is a plus
