TRAVEL: Remote option available

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY
The Civil Solar Business Developer will build long-standing relationships and strengthen existing relationships with EPCs resulting in new and repeat business. The position will also support the solar team in a variety of functions, primarily before project award.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Track record of B2B sales within the commercial solar space.
- Understanding civil construction practices, a plus, but not required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft suite, with emphasis on word, outlook, excel and PowerPoint.
- Effective communicator; comfortable initiating conversations with potential leads and keeping internal team abreast of BD activity.
- Professional representative of the company, with business attire and demeanor appropriate for the position.
- Comfortable with business negotiations.
- Able to visit remote sites periodically.
- Organized and capable for tracking BD budget effectively.
- Always follows up with potential leads and other tasks.
