Job Title: Underground Cable Line Technician
Location: Kansas (Statewide Travel Required)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Underground Cable Line Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing underground cable systems for telecommunications, internet, and television services. As a technician, you will ensure reliable service for our customers by splicing cables, troubleshooting signal issues, and burying drop cables from the tap to residential homes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and the technical expertise to operate specialized tools and equipment. This role requires adaptability to work in diverse conditions, including confined spaces and various weather environments, along with exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

· Install, maintain, and repair underground cable systems.

· Bury drop cables from taps to residential homes.

· Splice and troubleshoot cables to resolve signal and connectivity issues.

· Read and interpret technical schematics and work orders.

· Operate specialized tools and equipment safely and effectively.

· Adhere to all industry standards and safety regulations.

· Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 80 pounds.

· Valid Kansas driver's license.

· Ability to pass a drug screening and background check.

· Willingness to travel throughout the state of Kansas.

Pay: From $1,700.00 per week
