Responsibilities
- Install glass products in residential and commercial settings according to specifications.
- Measure and cut glass accurately using appropriate tools.
- Fabricate aluminum frame components as needed for custom installations.
- Operate machinery such as forklifts, press brake machines, and welding equipment safely.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards during installation processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Proficiency in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience with sheet metal work is a plus.
- Familiarity with calipers for precise measurements.
- Knowledge of machining processes is preferred.
- Ability to solder components as needed during installations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot installation issues.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
