Job Description
Job Summary : As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing various types of glass and glazing systems. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.
Responsibilities :
- Measure, cut, and install glass panels, windows, doors, and other glass components according to specifications.
- Repair and replace damaged glass and glazing systems, including glass doors, storefronts, skylights, and mirrors.
- Handle glass with care, ensuring proper safety measures are followed during installation and transportation.
- Operate hand and power tools, such as glass cutters, drills, grinders, and suction cups, to carry out glazing tasks.
- Prepare surfaces, apply sealants, adhesives, and caulks to ensure proper weatherproofing and insulation.
- Collaborate with team members, architects, and contractors to determine project requirements and provide accurate estimates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and safety protocols related to glass and glazing.
