Description of Work
The Department of Business, Accounting and Sport Management at Elizabeth City State University is accredited by AACSB International and invites applications for a 9-month, tenure-track faculty member (Assistant / Associate Professor) in Entrepreneurship and Management. This position will develop and deliver courses for traditional and virtual classrooms for undergraduate students in the Department and will teach undergraduate courses with emphasis in experiential learning; engage in relevant research and publish in quality outlets; advise students for academic preparation, career, and graduate school; provide service to the Department, University, and Profession; and develop collaborative relationships with the community.

Minimum Training and Experience
Minimum Training and Experience :
Possess a Doctorate in Management and Entrepreneurship. Degrees must be from AACSB accredited institutions, or Doctorate from an accredited institution in a closely related field with at least 18 graduate semester credit hours relevant to Management and Entrepreneurship. ABD doctoral candidates will be considered if the dissertation defense is expected to be completed before the start date of employment. Meet the initial and sustaining qualifications as Scholarly Academic (SA) or Practicing Academic (PA). Experiences in teaching entrepreneurship, strategic management, ethics, and management. The ability to teach in other related areas of business and management is a plus. Experience in teaching at a four-year college or university and publications in scholarly journals ranked by ABDC or Cabell’s International in the discipline are preferred.
