Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Elizabethtown, PA for a Lead Cook at Elizabethtown College. The Lead Cook will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, planning and preparing menu items, supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining inventory and kitchen cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Culinary Arts, Food Preparation, and Menu Planning skills
- Experience in leading and supervising kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Inventory Management and Kitchen Sanitation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a college or institutional food service setting is a plus
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
