Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing data entry, and generating reports for incoming and outgoing transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry & Transaction Recording: Accurately enter and categorize financial data for both incoming and outgoing bank account transactions.
- Bookkeeping Software & Spreadsheets: Use QuickBooks Online, spreadsheets, and other databases to update financial records and transactions in real time.
- Financial Reports: Generate and assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Record Maintenance: Monitor and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring that all records are kept up to date.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile financial discrepancies and report any irregularities or issues with accounts.
- Invoicing & Payments: Produce and process invoices for credit card bills and inventory orders.
- Payroll (Optional): Assist in processing payroll for employees if required.
Qualifications:
- Education: AA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- Software Experience: Familiarity with QuickBooks Online is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train candidates eager to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Ideally proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Attention to Detail: Must have a high level of accuracy and be detail-oriented in managing financial records.
