Job Summary:

The National Account Manager’s responsibilities include maintaining and prospecting food packaging accounts in the Western part of the United States. Annual growth requirements expected to exceed 20% year over year.

Applicants should reside in Western part of US next to major airport.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Manage the implementation of tactical strategies and support for the Foodservice National Account efforts.

· Actively and personally seek opportunities to meet face to face with corporate management of all strategic national account entities to develop and enhance the business relationship with LK. Use all necessary company support and resources LK offers to create opportunities and proof of service.

· Manage the dynamics of national account agreements to validate proper compliance to pricing and rebates as well as determining the level of satisfaction the account has with their relationship with Elkay. Manage national pricing contracts that support the national account efforts. Manage all new national account rollouts.

· Support our sales Consultants’ foodservice efforts in the field.

· Make end user calls to food packaging retailers selling LK products and solutions.

· Provide input to the LK Senior Management regarding the key indicators and trends of the Foodservice business relating to the use of polyethylene products.

· Field sales calls to group headquarters and any other significantly large Foodservice commissaries.

· Coordinate our involvement with Foodservice national trade shows and determine needed LK representation.

· Actively manage and be involved with special/custom/private label projects that require attention.

· Manage and direct all marketing activities regarding National Accounts through the Marketing Director for creative, production and implementation assistance.

· Actively seek opportunities to inform the LK organization on the business direction, structure and priorities identified within each National Account.

· Maintain and update salesforce CRM tool with opportunities and contacts.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent Communication Skills – presentation skills to key customers and prospects to various levels in the organization.
  • Selling Skills – understanding and applying the sales process to persuade and close sales and other business opportunities at any organization level of a National Account entity while acting as an LK Ambassador.
  • Collaboration skills – working well with others within the company is critical to this position since the work of the incumbent requires team participation from several essential LK departments and personnel.
  • Excellent Organization Skills (tracking projects, to-do’s, calendar obligations, etc.).
  • Excellent Computer Skills (particularly; email communication, web searching and archiving for research or background on a company, Microsoft Work software to construct letters and other communication documents, Microsoft PowerPoint to construct and deliver basic presentation material).

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

· Previous experience of at least 5 years in food packaging

· National Account selling experience preferred.

· C suite selling experience

· Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.com

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to travel long distances.

· Lifting requirements of 25 pounds for samples and supplies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Supplemental Pay:

  • Quarterly bonus

Salary : $95,000 - $130,000
