This role provides a unique opportunity to join the North American Commercial Sales Team and play a key role in expanding sales within the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment through direct sales and strategic channel partnerships.
Location: Remote – Candidate must reside in TX, OK, or NM.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regional sales management for the South Central US region (TX, OK, NM, AR, LA), overseeing C&I sales, bookings, and shipments across distributors, EPCs, developers, and end users.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and close opportunities that align with corporate growth targets and financial objectives.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including enterprise accounts, EPC firms, distributors, developers, asset owners, and engineering firms.
- Target key sectors such as Fortune 500 companies, manufacturing, agriculture, REITs, big-box retail, warehousing, schools, universities, and hospitals to expand renewable energy adoption.
- Represent the company at industry events to engage sustainability managers, project developers, and decision-makers interested in renewable energy solutions.
- Regularly forecast revenue and analyze sales performance, ensuring that regional targets are met while implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide market insights by gathering customer feedback, industry trends, and competitor analysis to support product management in refining offerings for the U.S. market.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop tailored strategies for market positioning and customer engagement.
- Liaise with executive leadership to align sales targets, growth initiatives, and expansion strategies for the U.S. market.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred).
- 7 years of experience in technical sales, managing engineered solutions through multiple sales channels, including distributors, EPCs, developers, and financial institutions.
- Previous experience in the solar PV industry, with a solid understanding of rooftop and ground-mount solar projects.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and successfully closing high-value, complex deals.
- Strong technical communication skills to effectively convey advanced product benefits in an accessible way to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to build and expand client relationships, develop new accounts, and maintain existing partnerships.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating adaptability and strategic thinking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
