Summary:
We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Superintendent to work with a Leading US Turnkey Energy Solutions Company specializing in innovative service and equipment solutions to the energy industry worldwide. Due to the exponential growth they have experienced, and with an ever-increasing pipeline of orders, they are seeking a strong supervisor, to oversee their direct reports on 3rd shift, with extensive experience working within a plant to manage projects and processes such as scheduling, budgeting and ensuring compliance.
As the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will also have ideal experience within turbine manufacturing as well as piece part manufacturing/repair.
The Manufacturing Supervisors Responsibilities Will be:
- Planning and managing projects and processes such as scheduling, budgeting, or ensuring compliance.
- Meet or exceed core competency expectations for safety, quality, productivity, attendance/punctuality, and teamwork.
- Establishing schedules for maintenance and day-to-day operations
- Supervising maintenance and repairs of equipment, and inspecting work areas for safety and orderliness
- Schedule production and day-to-day tasks for team members.
- Ensuring quality assurance in all aspects of operations, including logistics equipment
- Maintain consumables, and other orders or needs within responsible areas of production.
- Safety Plan Implementation
- Maintenance Scheduling and support
- Implement and maintain a 5S production area
- Trouble shoot non-conformances derived from both turbine and package production.
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks
The Manufacturing Supervisors Qualifications Will be:
- 3-5 years prior experience in a supervisory role with direct reports
- Experience with methods and processes used to ensure that materials, components, or products meet expected standards or compliance requirements.
- Experience within a plant manufacturing setting, ideally with Gas Turbines
- Previous Machining background is a plus
- Repair of parts Manufacturing is a plus
