Job Summary
We are seeking a Power Services Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and has the ability to provide exceptional service to clients and employees.
Our organization consists of multiple divisions specializing in commercial and petroleum construction, industrial and commercial electrical services, industrial cleaning, and hazardous waste disposal. We operate across multiple states, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Hawaii, with various job sites across the U.S.

The Power Services Engineer is responsible for acceptance and maintenance testing of power distribution equipment and operating the necessary test equipment to perform the job.
Education and Experience Qualifications
- NETA Level 3 certification or relevant experience in testing circuit breakers, transformers, grounding systems, distribution gear, and cables.
- Protective relay testing experience.
- Previous schooling, work experience, or internship in an electrical trade is considered.
- AAS or BS degree in electrical engineering or industrial electronics recommended.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, and the ability to learn custom test equipment software).
- Solid understanding of power distribution and electrical components through education or prior experience.
- Awareness of workplace hazards when working around electrical circuits.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and comprehension of electrical theory.
- Good customer relations skills and ability to work independently.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Power Services Engineer Technician, possessing the qualifications listed above, performs the following duties:
- Conduct acceptance and maintenance testing of power distribution equipment (circuit breakers, transformers, cables, distribution gear).
- Train entry-level technicians on proper testing procedures and equipment operation.
- Work independently when required.
- Maintain flexible working hours—typically 8 AM - 5 PM on weekdays, with occasional after-hours and weekend work based on customer needs.
- Have reliable transportation to travel to office locations or customer sites.
- Be willing to travel for out-of-area jobs for up to two weeks, with most work being local but occasional assignments in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Alaska, or Hawaii.
- Maintain a drug-free status in accordance with company policies.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be adaptable to the following physical requirements and working conditions:
- Move around job sites as needed.
- Lift and transport up to 50 lbs of work-related equipment.
- Remain stationary for extended periods.
- Operate various technological devices, including computers.
- Occasionally ascend/descend ladders and stairs.
