Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries or purchases.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions, including cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Provide product information and assist customers in locating items.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
