We are seeking Legal Assistants and Immigration Paralegals to join a dynamic team of attorneys and paralegals who handle a wide variety of business immigration matters. The New Hires will assist in preparing and filing petitions and applications with a heavy focus on employment-based cases for submission to USCIS, DOL, and DOS. The position requires meticulous document preparation and constant communication with colleagues, clients, and government agencies. This position calls for an individual possessing a keen attention to detail, a proactive problem-solving “team player” attitude, and an eagerness to manage a wide range of responsibilities.
This position is pivotal to the firm’s daily productivity, and requires meticulous document preparation and recordkeeping, and constant communication with colleagues, clients, and agencies. The firm is highly collaborative, and all members are expected to not only execute their assigned tasks with efficiency and accuracy, but must also understand how their role fits into the broader picture of individual cases, client relationships, and the practice of law.

Tasks Include:
Draft documents for visa applications, petitions, applications for permanent residence, labor certification applications and other immigrant and non-immigrant related filings
- Communicate verbally and in writing with business and individual clients and coworkers
- Analyze and review case details to determine future actions
- Assist with online application processes, including in PERM, FLAG and CEAC databases and consular processing of immigrant petitions through NVC
- Liaise with government agencies including USCIS, CBP, DOS and DOL
- Gather and analyze evidence, review and organize information and files and conduct quality assurance review of filings
- Revise job descriptions, client advisories related to developments in the field and other written communication pieces
- Assemble application and petition packages and files with USCIS and other agencies
- Coordinate translation of various documents across a wide range of languages
- Perform administrative duties related to new client intake
- Maintain calendar of filing deadlines, processing times, etc. and manage caseload
- Focus on professional development and stay informed on immigration law trends and news, sharing information with others
- Work as part of a team and assist coworkers, as needed
PAY IS COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE
Employment Details & Work Location:
Offered position is a full time (40 hours a week) permanent position that requires the candidate to be on site in our physical office on 3-4 days a week .
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation commensurate with experience
