The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for collecting and organizing data, researching best practices, and working with leadership team to develop plans to address deficiencies and enhance overall performance. This role reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and is tasked with reviewing, enhancing, and auditing our programs for Quality Assurance, Food Safety compliance and SQF Program. The QA Coordinator will also be working directly within the Operations team to integrate, streamline and enhance to achieve desired outcomes.
Please note: This position is an onsite role. At this time there is no relocation assistance is available.

- Pay: $57,500-$67,500/ annual, DOE
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am – 4pm (may vary based on business needs)

Essential Functions:
- Review and evaluate program goals with department leadership. Provide recommendation to the Quality Manager. Assist with establishing implementation and measurement of goals.
- Assess priorities, create, and execute timelines, continuously monitor, and evaluate goals.
- Conducts and provides monthly GMP Audit reports to QA Manager.
- Leads or assists in quality investigations to determine root cause.
- Designs and implements quality improvement studies, including design of study, data collection, data analysis, reporting, and recommended next steps.
- Conducts or assists with QA lab activities, including daily testing and equipment calibration, as needed.
- Conducts daily product quality and production data collection auditing, including production quality documentation/records and pasteurization charts.
- COA review for compliance.
- Organizes and conducts daily product reviews.
- Manages product retain program.
- Assists with audit preparation and reporting.
- Trains production personnel on new/enhanced quality procedures.
- Develops and provides one-point training lessons to production personnel as needed.
- Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of Ellenos’ quality and Food Safety programs to effectively create strategies in partnership with the Quality Manager.
- Active member of the safety committee, providing recommendations and training.
- Assists with the development, implementation & coordination of quality improvement/assurance systems.
- Assist in collecting, organizing and reporting from database systems or assists in data collection and analysis.
- Makes recommendations for continuous quality/safety program improvement.
- Attends internal and external meetings as required to stay abreast of company program developments and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with department Leadership to ensure implementation of organizational strategy is consistent with overall company goals.
- Address and manage complex issues to achieve desired results, including the ability to gather, interpret, and use relevant data to drive strategy development, make decisions, and drive results.
- Assist and develop Food Safety monthly trainings in line with SQF Requirements.

- Other tasks as directed by Quality Assurance Manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
- Experience designing and operating programs and conducting data-driven continuous improvement processes.
- Exceptional planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills to meet multiple demands and deadline sensitive projects.
- Self-directed with exemplary follow-through, team player, accountable for scope of responsibility.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a multiethnic environment, showing sensitivity to and respect for diverse cultures, languages and supporting the culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and technical skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work with others.
- PCQI trained, HACCP trained and SQF Experience highly desired.
