Position : Winter Musical Set Painter
Location : Ellensburg High School
Reports to : Producer and ASB Coordinator
Contract Amount : $549.52
Overview :
The Set Painter will work closely with the Set Builder to paint and finish props and set pieces for the high school musical. This role is essential in bringing the production's visual elements to life through artistic painting techniques and scenic finishes.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Set Builder and production team to achieve the desired look for the set.
- Mix and apply paints, stains, and finishes to props and set pieces.
- Use various painting techniques (e.g., dry brushing, sponging, distressing) to create textures and effects.
- Ensure consistency in color schemes and design elements.
- Work within the production timeline to complete painting tasks on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
