Qualifications:
- Current with appropriate EMT Training Course and Current licensure with the Missouri Bureau of EMS
- Maintain updated BLS certification
- Missouri Driver’s License Class E
Job Description
- Provides pre-hospital care in accordance with established treatment protocols and scope of practice as an EMT.
- Assists the EMT-P with patient care in accordance with established treatment protocols of EMH.
- Prepares and maintains ambulances, equipment, and inventory in preparedness for emergency response.
- Communicates with EMS and nursing staff.
- Other duties as assigned by CNO, ED Director, Paramedic, and Charge Nurse.
- Behaves in a manner consistent with the Mission, Values, and Vision of EMH. Performs other duties as requested.
Applicant must be able to work 12-48 hour shifts, able to do moderate to heavy lifting and pulling with proper body mechanics, work under pressure, etc.
