Elliott Homes, LLC is seeking a highly motivated, team player for the position of Jr. Field Manager, specializing in residential and new home construction. You will be part of a dynamic, progressive homebuilding company, currently working within the Mississippi Gulf Coast Region, with plans to expand.
Reporting to the VP of Production, the Jr. Field Manager will effectively assist in managing new home builds within a community, delivering quality homes from development through completion. You will work alongside the Field Manager in a community by monitoring performance, ensuring all duties are followed through, on schedule and performed optimally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Home Construction Management Assistance
- The planning, scheduling, implementation & coordination of quality-built homes from development through final construction on a timely & economical basis.
- Involvement in managerial oversight of homes.
- Direct & monitor the progress of a variety of projects.
- Oversee the schedule compliance, delivery & use of materials, the quality of construction, worker productivity & compliance with building/safety codes.
- Maintain safe, clean and compliant job sites.
- Understand contracts, plans, construction methods & regulations.
- Track & control construction costs against the budget in order to avoid cost overruns.
- Manage subcontractors and sub-contractor relationships to build homes on schedule and settle (close) on time.
Meetings:
- Complete homes and all customer walk-through items at closing.
- Attend daily team huddles and weekly team training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A degree in Construction Management is preferred.
- A minimum of 1 years of directly related experience in the home building industry is preferred.
- Experience in scheduling, ordering materials, supervision, quality control and production for all phases of construction.
- Possess comprehensive computer knowledge.
- Strong and clear communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to manage a language-based communication barrier.
- Knowledge of Construction Practices and Terminology.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
