Position Summary:
The Field Services Manager oversees statewide GPS program, ensuring effective operations, compliance, and coordination between RMS staff and governmental agencies. This role involves employee management, quality assurance, and technical assistance. Reporting to the Director of Field Operations, the manager exercises independent decision-making while collaborating with employees to optimize program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight & Administration
- Lead and supervise statewide GPS monitoring programs, ensuring operational efficiency (on the job training provided).
- Provide regular updates to the Director of Field Operations regarding program developments and emerging issues.
- Monitor program performance metrics and address factors influencing participation rates.
Employee & Stakeholder Relations
- Manage hiring, training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between RMS operations and government agencies.
- Collaborate with service providers to enhance program effectiveness.
Technical & Compliance Support (Training Provided)
- Conduct GPS/RF program webinars for regional staff.
- Assist in developing GPS/RF contract proposals.
- Screen and approve access requests for EM monitoring software.
- Ensure adequate inventory levels for uninterrupted program operations.
- Travel: Statewide travel within Mississippi is required.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Minimum of (1) year of experience supervising employees.
- Military or criminal justice experience preferred.
