The role
We’re partnering with a leading financial services organization to hire a Compensation Manager who brings strategic insight, analytical rigor, and the ability to tell compelling stories through data.
Success in this role requires a strong balance of IQ (analytical capability), EQ (interpersonal and communication skills), and AQ (adaptability in a dynamic environment). You’ll join a lean, high-performing team, working closely with business leaders to shape and influence global compensation strategy.
Summary of the role and key responsibilities
- Oversee global compensation programs, including base salary, variable pay, equity plans, and profit-sharing.
- Lead compensation benchmarking and market analysis; partner with external vendors to ensure data accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to provide strategic compensation guidance, including support on complex offers and retention strategies.
- Own compensation reporting, data visualization, and modeling to support decision-making and executive presentations.
- Review and enhance communication strategies, including offer letters and plan documentation.
Key skills required
- 5 years of experience in compensation, ideally with some global exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, HR, or a related field with a strong analytics component.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, formulas, visualizations).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience.
- High level of integrity in working with sensitive and confidential information.
Compensation: $150k to $175k base
