Job Description: Human Resources Manager
Location: Harvey, LOUISIANA, 70058
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR function for the organization. This includes but is not limited to:
- Recruiting and hiring new employees
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Managing employee relations and resolving conflicts
- Administering employee benefits and compensation programs
- Ensuring compliance with all federal and state employment laws
- Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues
- Managing HR-related projects and initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in HR management
- Experience with Federal Contracts
- Experience with HR software system, Paycor or similar
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational, attention to detail, and project management skills
- Ability to function well in a high paced environment
