Job Requirements
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role requires a motivated self-starter who can work independently and perform various tasks required in a fast-moving small company environment. The successful candidate will be the technical lead, responsible for creating, validating, and supporting new designs as well as existing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with industrial designers to develop and validate design concepts
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams
- Develop and implement engineering processes and procedures
- Manage testing and validation of new designs
- Provide technical support for customer field issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with 7-10 years of engineering work experience
- Excellent technical knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes for bicycles or other similar products/industries
- Strong collaborative mindset
- Motivated, self-managed, and reliable
- Excellent mechanical design and analysis skills
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Computer Skills: Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and MS Office Apps
- Machining and fabrication experience and working with composite materials is a plus
- Knowledge of electronics and sensors for testing and data acquisition is a plus
- Avid runner, cyclist, or fitness enthusiast is a plus
