About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Heat Treat Operator I to join our team at ELLWOOD National Forge. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled duties in hot process operations, required in the production of steel products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate vertical and horizontal heat treat furnaces, ability to rig and fixture products for heat treat, set up and operate hydraulic straightening press, set up and operate coring, sawing and drilling machines, operate gas cutting torches and heat stability machines.
- Maintain highest quality standards in the execution of assigned work.
Requirements
- Performs all work in accordance with plant safety rules.
- Maintains all reports and recordkeeping as required.
- Regular attendance as scheduled is an essential function.
