We’ve been around for almost 100 years and are gearing up for more growth. We have an opening at our Euclid, Ohio facility for a Quality Inspector . This person will be responsible for performing physical and dimensional inspection of rolled or machined and fabricated product per the requirements of the applicable standards, drawings, specifications and quality plans to ensure products meet or exceed the customer’s requirements. Job Duties Include, but not limited to : Perform first article inspections to ensure product conformance prior to full scale manufacturing. Accurately record inspection results, as required by quality plans, to document inspection process. Work to meet production schedules by completing inspection on-time and ensure that product is moved in a timely basis to the next work center per the production order. Perform dimensional, physical and visual inspection of rolled or machined and fabricated product. Use micrometers, calipers, gauges and other manual equipment to dimensionally inspect rolled or machined and fabricated product. Perform quality data gathering, charting, etc. of quality results and indicators as requested by the quality Requirements : High School of Vocational School Diploma and / or GED required. Previous experience in a machining and manufacturing environment within Aerospace Supply is desirable. Must have the ability to understand inspection data and explain how it correlates to the manufactured part. Advanced math skills are required to perform necessary job functions. Must possess excellent computer skills and be efficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Business needs and trade compliance requirements mandate that this position be held by a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident. Preferred : Associate’s Degree in quality engineering or equivalent discipline Working knowledge with CMMs. Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T).
