Overseeing the entirety of the Support Services team, the Vice President of Support Services will act as the overseer for all of Elmington's support services teams, programs, and initiatives that makes Elmington one of the best places to work. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization's support departments (Admin, IT, HR, and Marketing).
- Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems.
- Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes and use of resources and materials.
- Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.
- Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
- Creation and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives in alignment with company's values.
- Maintain responsibility for organization's compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
- Work with advisors to identify, assess, and mitigate risk.
- Develop employer branding and drive strategies that support company's ability to deliver a "best places to work" culture.
- Oversee messaging and communicates changes regarding organization's personnel policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Complete annual benefits analysis, research emerging trends and new opportunities, and present to executives' recommendations for changes that support company goals.
- Develop and execute a robust on-boarding process that reliably installs our company values and culture into new hires for quick assimilation.
- Identify and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and the member experience.
- Collaborate with division executives to develop and execute a plan for professional development that ensures long-term employee satisfaction and continuous growth.
- Create and administer regular employee engagement and satisfaction surveys; prepare summaries of findings and recommendations for improvement to executive leadership and ownership
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
- Master's degree or 10 years' experience with a bachelor degree in a related field or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential
- 8 - 10 years' experience as Director of HR (or higher title) OR Director of Operations
- Must have experience managing all lines of business and experience working in operations
- MUST be willing to work in office, this is not a hybrid role.

- Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.
