$31,401 per year

Job specifics:

1. Picks up and removes hazardous articles which may be on floors, furniture and equipment and places them in designated receptacles or in appropriate places. Moves furniture and equipment in connection with cleaning and care functions.

2. Using mops, brushes, detergents, buffers, floor scrubbers and other cleaning implements washes floors, corridors, stairs and stairwells, walls, partitions and windows from the inside of buildings.

3. Using manual and/or mechanical equipment strips, vacuums and waxes floors; shampoos carpets.

4. Using hand operated equipment and detergents, scrubs and cleans all areas of lavatories such as sinks and urinals.

5. Using hand-dusting equipment, dusts designated areas.

6. Using appropriate equipment such as ladders and scaffolds, washes light fixtures, replaces light bulbs, dusts and/or washes light fixtures and high places such as ceilings.

7. Using designated equipment, polishes wood and metal fixtures and equipment.

8. Moving furniture and equipment in connection with cleaning activities.

9. May be assigned to remove snow; clean sidewalks, yards, and drives; and mows lawn in assigned areas with manual or mechanical equipment.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work early or late hours, weekends and holidays and be physically able to perform medium to heavy physical labor.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
