The Superintendent will oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial and retail construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage commercial/retail construction projects from start to finish.
- Maintain and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Conduct site inspections and address any quality or safety issues as they arise.
- Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and resolving any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and local building codes.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment for on-site teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, with a strong background in commercial/retail construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects, coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
