We are seeking a Corporate Controller. The Corporate Controller will report to the VP of Finance and will be responsible for overseeing all financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance activities within the organization. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, and a keen understanding of regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and internal policies.
- Provide detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, to senior leadership.
- Accounting Operations:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Ensure robust internal controls are in place to safeguard assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
- Coordinate and manage the external audit process, working closely with auditors to ensure compliance and resolve any issues.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and reporting requirements.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist finance during the annual budgeting process to create accurate forecasts and financial plans.
- Assist in monitoring budget performance throughout the year and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Strategic Financial Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making at the executive level.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Public Accounting audit experience with top 10 CPA firm preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience with financial systems and software (e.g., ERP, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $110,000-$140,000
