With relationships defined by transparency, Elsmere Education Online Program Enablement offerings, manages the strategy, marketing, recruiting, program development and retention efforts for its partner universities. While Elsmere's Education-Process-as-a-Service (EPaaS) provides a subscription service for institutions to enable their students and staff to achieve strategic goals.

The Product Documentation & Training Specialist will play a critical role in supporting Elsmere Education's partner universities by developing, maintaining, and curating documentation and training materials for the effective use of Elsmere Education products. This role will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing resources within the client Knowledge Base and the corporate learning management system (LMS). In collaboration with the Product team, the specialist will provide recommendations for in-application and in-service guidance to ensure a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about creating clear, effective, and user-friendly documentation and training materials.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials for Elsmere Education products, ensuring alignment with client and business needs.
  • Assist in the planning, development, and curation of assets for the client Knowledge Base and corporate LMS.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to provide recommendations for in-application and service guidance to enhance user experiences.
  • Regularly review and improve documentation for accuracy, consistency, and clarity, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Gather feedback from internal teams, partner universities, and end-users to identify gaps and improve training and documentation resources.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, and Client Services) to ensure training materials are aligned with product updates and strategic goals.
  • Support the creation of multimedia assets, such as videos, tutorials, and infographics, to enhance training and documentation efforts.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training and documentation materials, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, or training development, preferably in a technology or higher education environment.
  • Strong understanding of Knowledge Base and LMS platforms, with experience managing and curating content in these systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for a diverse audience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with tools for creating multimedia content (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Articulate) is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, UX, or Client Services teams to improve user guidance and training resources.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira).

    Salary : $70,000-$80,000
