About the Role
The National Sales Account Manager is an integral part of our business. This role manages current accounts and is responsible for sales and marketing administrative duties.
- Research potential new account prospects and create lead lists
- Build/manage client relationships and offer the highest level of customer service to Elum’s national accounts
- Serve as the main point of contact for national account(s): send proposals, answer questions and resolve issues that may arise
- Communicate client’s needs and expectations with Elum’s art, production, compliance and logistics departments throughout each phase of a project
- Send pre-production samples with production notes to client · Review, edit and monitor purchase orders to ensure they are fulfilled effectively
- Contact current and new accounts to inform them of promotions and new products
- Review and analyze best-selling products with team; identify opportunities for increased sales amongst best sellers
- Identify collections or products that would be a good fit and propose to client
- Have a good understanding of profit margins across key accounts and be able to propose and/or negotiate wholesale pricing
- Assist in maintaining monthly sales order reports with Rep groups; confirm all orders have been input and received
- Find new manufacturing rep groups and independent reps; sign them on to represent the Elum product line
- Pull and send product samples to buyers at major accounts; send samples and marketing materials for reps and rep shows on time
- Follow consistent sales office procedures such as updating CRM database and recording account activity
- Attend conferences and represent Elum brand; answer questions and collect contact information
- Assist with special projects and other duties as requested
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of client service experience
- Minimum of 2 year of sales experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
