Food & Beverage Receiver - FULL TIME - The Guest House at Graceland

This is a full-time position located in the Food and Beverage Department at The Guest House at Graceland having variable/flexible working hours to include weekends, holidays, evenings, and overtime as needed. This is a promotional opportunity.  Benefits may be offered after successful completion of a sixty (60) day introductory period. This is an internal/external recruitment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Food and Beverage Supervisors and Management team, receive, unpack, food products and supplies; stock the restaurants; report damaged products; transfer food products  from restaurants as required; work with restaurant supervisor to develop and maintain organization of the stockrooms; maintain cleanliness and organization of loading dock and receiving areas; other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:  Some knowledge of stocking and receiving products is helpful; ability to cope with extremely heavy workload; excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in person and on the telephone are essential; ability to prioritize and work with minimum supervision; excellent attention to detail; ability to perceive and deal with sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality; basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft programs are helpful. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time; ability to lift boxes weighing up to 25 lbs.; ability to stoop and reach; ability to climb stairs.
