Searching for an experienced Tax Preparer for a local CPA firm in Longview, TX. Monday- Friday 8 am-5 pm, occasional Saturdays during tax season. $20-30 / hr based on experience.

Accountant Tax Preparer Details :
Temp-to-Hire position
to $ / hour
Full Time work available
Weekend work required
First Shift (Monday through Saturday)
Manage all accounting transactions
Prepare budget forecasts
Publish financial statements on time
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Manage balance sheets and profit / loss statements
100% paid medical and dental insurance, 401K, and paid vacation
Accountant Tax Preparer Qualifications :
Previous Tax Prep at CPA firm is required
Experience in QuickBooks preferred
Experience in basic accounting such as payroll, sales tax, data entry, and reconciliations
Applicant may be subject to a background check
Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
