Accounting Manager Details :
Direct Hire position
100, to $110, / annually
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08 : 00am to 05 : 00pm)
Responsible for accounting operations, production of periodic reports and maintenance of account records and accurate and timely financial management of the organization.
Oversee the accounting operations and ensure the reporting and control systems fall within the parameters set by the parent company.
Responsible for monthly close and monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP, state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
Responsible for the Company’s General Ledger. Provide support and guidance to Accounting team to ensure timely and accuracy of financial records.
Responsible for Fixed Asset Ledger and capital spending processes, including spending tracking and post-capitalization audit and analysis.
Lead the annual financial audit and serve as liaison between the Company and the auditing firm.
Assist in developing and maintaining internal control guidelines and policies and procedures.
Assist in developing the annual budget, forecasts, and long-term planning.
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
Accounting Manager Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in accounting / finance
2-3 years’ experience managing an accounting department
Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and advance Excel skills.
Knowledge of Business Central and Sage software preferred.
Able to work in a changing environment; must be able to promote suggestions to assist in the creation of an efficient workflow.
Must follow the environmental program and all safety rules. Understanding of US GAAP and applicable laws and regulations
Advanced analytical and decision-making skills.
Understands of financial data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, treasury, and accounts receivable functions.
Ability to work with tight deadlines
Strong organization and priority setting skills a must.
Proven experience in financial project management.
Inventory management standard costing skills preferred
